Barbados is an eastern Caribbean island. Bridgetown, the capital, is a cruise-ship port.Around the island are beaches, botanical gardens, the Harrison’s Cave formation, and 17th-century plantation houses like St. Nicholas Abbey.

Barbados is an island country in the Lesser Antilles of the West Indies, in the Carribean region of the Americas, and the most easterly of the Caribbean Islands. Its capital and largest city is Bridgetown.

Flying fish, which are common to most tropical seas, are found in the warm waters surrounding Barbados. The species found in this region are about 25cm long and are shaped like a herring. The remarkable feature of this fish is its ability to “fly”!

St. James Parish Church

St. James Parish Church, is located in Holetown, St. James, Barbados. It stands on one of the oldest parcels of consecrated land on the island, often known in Barbados as “God’s acre”.

We were able to visit this amazing island with extended family and friends and it surely did not disappoint. From the informative and beautiful tours to relaxing on the beaches, we had a wonderful time and can’t wait to return!

There were just so many opportunities to get lost in adventure and wonder on this beautiful Island, and we just couldn’t’ pass up the opportunity to drive by Bad Gal Riri’s (yes Rihanna’s) Childhood home!
