Fall In Love With Fall

When asked what’s your favorite season, most people either respond with summer or winter – Immediately inciting references to their favorite outdoor activities, like either swimming, going to the beach or skiing, snowball fighting, etc.

Heck, even spring gets a little bit of shine with the thought of the first longer bit of sunshine that leads to the end of a chilly and frosty cold spell.

September, October, and November are usually the leftovers on most people’s lists, only really making the cut because that’s when football starts. Not Anymore My Friends! Today we are going to talk about why Fall is slept on, and give you a few cool ideas and objects that will have you falling in love with fall if you haven’t already.

I Make This Look Goooood!

First of all, this is really the season to show what your accessory game is all about.

As a very talented Actress, Model, Mom, Wife & Mogul – Kristi Kirk, slays the streets of NYC effortlessly and elegantly…..and we’re very envious!

She can put together a crisp, cool and clever outfit like no one’s business. From head to toe, accessorized just so, with a plush and beautiful scarf and hat ensemble that pops. A cool yet light jacket that is functional yet fun. An attitude that screams brings on the elements because my shine is as bright as the sun!

From a fashion standpoint, there are so many options of boots, coats, and sweaters that we can choose to layer in to our outfits that really gives you a great chance to express a bit of who we are.

The home is another place where we can embrace sliding away from a long hot summer, and really get a chance to show the world a little bit of ourselves.

We’re partial to soft, warm scented candles that smell of spice and caramel.

Maybe add a few accent pillows the color of milkweed and burnt orange to your living room.

Certainly, take some time to enjoy some warm, decadent, rich and smooth Kona coffee drinks on that fall morning when there is a slight nip in the air.

Truly a breath of paradise for your pallet.

The changing of the weather also brings the opportunity for new and fun activities.

Try something new this fall. Head out to a cider mill and taste the delicious apples, pick a few then make some delicious caramel apples at home. Head to a pumpkin patch, have the family select the best pumpkin (Watch the Charlie Special with Great Pumpkin, of course), and then decorate your pumpkin. With the seeds inside you can clean and bake them for lovely smells that leave your home smelling like wonderful fall memories.

Dad…It’s Been 4 Hours….We’re Beginning To Think You Don’t Know Where Your Going
This Is Organic Right?

Take a hayride, tell spooky stories by a campfire or by flashlight if necessary. Head out to a corn maze and try to get out!! Have you ever taken your family to do this? It’s amazing!! There are petting zoos, storytellers, zip lines at some, and huge bails of corn that your child can get dumped in.

Definitely not something you do every day.

In all, there are so many things about fall to get excited about beyond football season.

However, if for some reason you still aren’t jacked about Fall….remember, that’s when Football Starts….WOOHOOO!!

Fall…The Perfect Time To Take Your Shirt Off!!

What are you waiting for – get out and enjoy FALL!!
