From indulging in high stakes dodge ball, to zip lining mania, and living out trapeze artists fantasies, this amazing trampoline park has it all!

Defy is an extreme air sports event destination for the entire family. You can release your inner acrobat on the trapeze, be a superb aerial skills expert and so much more.  “The motto and mission at DEFY is an attitude and rallying cry promoting individualism and freedom from the norm. It’s a collection of extreme air sport parks across America that  are rewriting the rules of sport-giving our communities a place where they’re free to express and push themselves.”

My take on it is “Defy Logic, Defy Gravity, Defy Expectations”, at DEFY Soaring  high above the ground you are literally forced to reach new heights and leave your fears behind and exchange them for giggles, shouts of glee and the thrill of the exceptional.

While celebrating Kingston’s 8th birthday the thought crossed my mind that I may very well be akin to Peter pan! Soaring high above the ground and shedding my fears of heights and the punishing effects of gravity meeting the floor led me to feel exhilarated and (not at all middle aged:) Well at least until, the day after.

In society we are often blasted with expectations of what we should be doing, who we should be doing it with and even how we should feel about it. But our inner child, inner voice or whatever you want to call it, may lay dormant at times, when it truly wants to be heard and express itself, it sometimes just lets it rip. And here at Defy, my inner child wanted to ROAR! I was not the only one letting go and being free… Colin was actually the first of us to nail his back flip, and had a ball displaying his dunking prowess as well. We had the most epic dodgeball battle, parents vs. kids, and I must say watching the boys’ faces, especially Kingston’s on this day, was truly magical.

Allowing our children to see us having just as much fun as them, instead of being burdened by worry or stress was a true gift, not only for Kingston on his special day. But for the entire family as well.

We were fortunate to grant Kingston’s wish of spending his 8th birthday here and we all had a ball. Colin was showing off the dunks he would have used in the NBA and Ace came up with a signature wrestling move off the top ropes that would have even the Rock “smelling what he was cookin”. Kingston was high flying on the zip line with ease and wonder while I was reliving my cheerleading days in the pit!

It was an absolutely spectacular fun filled day that we would recommend for everyone!

They also have lounge areas with tv’s that those who just want to observe can chill at and still feel a part of all of the excitement. The energy was electric all around. So look up Defy in your area or when visiting Denver, make sure to check it out!
