Merging your business with your beliefs
For a lot of you that like living the holiday Rising lifestyle you’ve already discovered that calling your own shots, being Your Own Boss, owning your own business, or finding your own career path can be freeing yet daunting in the sentence that you want to be profitable yet hold on to your value system. so many of us are faced with the challenge of reconciling profits and purpose. We believe that one does not have to exist without the other. finding a way to have joy in your career or being successful enough in your business that allows you free time to enjoy your passion and pass along your truth is a very purposeful act.
The key is finding the balance between having money to pursue your passion and doing what it takes to make the money. The pandemic has shown a lot of us that you can accomplish just as much if not more working from home and many of our current careers. People are finding a lot of freedom being able to schedule their work week around their schedule instead of having everything dictated to them and feeling like you’re on a hamster wheel. So we say why change? Even with the covid pandemic hopefully coming to an end soon and although there will be a new normal in terms of how companies are being run, many people are also re-evaluating how they would like to spend their day and how and where they would like to spend the majority of their time.
Often people find themselves on a path and a quest for something that they never really sat down and realize that they wanted. It was someone else’s “ American dream” , achieving dreams and goals set by others who decades before decided that this and only this was the way to go through life and make achievements.
We believe people should stop and truly evaluate what it is that you want and what you need to make you happy. And then as you achieve these things keep checking in with yourself, to determine if the goals or new goals are still in line with your true wants and desires. When doing this first, it will allow you to set a plan and then work your plan with joy and purpose. Why will you be successful and will it work? Because it will be your plan , your true hopes and desires, not someone else’s. Therefore, you will not be sad or jealous when another achieves something because it has no effect whatsoever on your mission. You and only you can be the author of your book, so because you are the star, go for all of the bells and whistles with your character and achievements! Work backwards from saying this feels amazing to have or to accomplish, then from there, work backwards and create a tree plan that in great detail, shows what you had to do to get it!!
Find ways to incorporate your core values and your goals into your companies main frame. Serve, protect, innovate, create, share knowledge, be useful.. these are all things that can resonate loud and proud through your companies actions or create career path. Inject your core values into the way you do business everyday, and your business or career will reflect those values loud and clear and whatever it is you choose to do or own, will shine bright like a diamond because your values do!
Be vigilant and relentless with your ambition for your goal though. Because the world, life, society, heck tv, can distract us from our true goals. So take the time to really investigate what it is that you want and then be vigilant with your pursuit, and then you will also have obtained happiness.
