Taking time for just us, while the Grandparents watched the boys was a much needed and well deserved break for us with activities and pandemic induced teaching assignments. It was wonderful to let go and feel like a kid again – carefree and fun.
It’s small getaways like this, that help to recharge the batteries and help appreciate the kiddos even more when we return.
