WonderWorks – Orlando, Florida

If you find yourself in Orlando, have done all the parks but still have a few days to kill before you need to head home, take a day and visit WonderWorks.

We were fortunate and so excited to spend the day at Wonderworks to celebrate a birthday with dear family friends. It was a magical day that we will never forget. There were so many incredible things to see and do.

From morning until evening (literally, it closes at 8 pm mon-Fri and 11 pm on weekends) There are science puzzles, riddles and fantastical things galore to do! You could easily spend the entire day and still not have seen and done everything.

When vacationing in Orlando this is definitely a must-see!! There is so much more to do than just Disney or Universal when visiting Orlando so make sure to wear comfy clothes and shoes and enter the fantastic world of WonderWorks!!

WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 35,000 square feet of “edutainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands-on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.

This once top-secret laboratory was located in the Bermuda triangle. An experiment gone awry lifted the laboratory, carrying it to International Drive in Orlando, Florida where it landed upside down. Luckily, all of the exhibits remained intact and available for guests to explore.

With the ceiling under your feet and the ground above your head, WonderWorks will turn your world upside down. Pass through the inversion tunnel to realign yourself and start your adventure! Once you are properly aligned for your adventure, family fun awaits with more than 100 hands-on exhibits and interactive displays.

After you’ve explored the exhibits, venture up to the basement where you’ll find action-packed entertainment for all ages! Climb through obstacles three stories above the ground in the glow-in-the-dark Indoor Ropes Course, compete against opponents and battle in our in a fast-paced, black-lit Laser-Tag arena and experience a whirlwind adventure in our 4D XD Motion Theater!!
