Black Eyed Pea Hummus
Looking for a change of pace from your same old, same old?
Let’s mix it up a bit….
…or maybe you don’t like Black Eyed Peas by themselves, and are just looking for a way to knock some down to have good luck in the New Year.
This is a perfect recipe to really get out of the usual routine and try a whole new spin on a regular classic.
Ingredients:
- 3 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- Fresh lemon juice from 1/2 a lemon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 1 can black-eyed peas, drained
Directions:
- Load up the old Food Processor
- Add all ingredients to the food processor and process for until smooth, scraping sides of bowl occasionally.
- Serve with pita wedges, chips, or crackers.
- Enjoy!!
